At HT we are well-versed in the management of strong, sensitive, or high-spirited horses – including colts, stallions, and horses requiring a more experienced hand.

Whether it's a young colt learning boundaries, a seasoned stallion needing respectful handling, or a horse with behavioural history, we offer a quiet, structured environment led by knowledgeable team who understand the importance of patience, kindness, and calm confidence.

Our approach is never rushed or reactive. Horses respond to our quiet confidence and feel secure in our predictable routines. We pride ourselves on producing relaxed, respectful horses without the need for force – only firm boundaries, patient repetition, and an understanding of the individual.

We welcome owners and trainers looking for a facility where even the most challenging horses are met with professionalism and respect. 

We offer expert help during the birthing process to ensure the health of both mare and foal. Our foaling stables are equipped with CCTV, and our sitting up room is adjacent for round-the-clock attention. Donnington Grove Veterinary Clinic is nearby, and our years of combined experience from working on international stud farms ensure the best care for your horses.

We welcome both Northern and Southern Hemisphere mares for boarding and foaling. Permanent boarders as well as seasonal boarders, whichever breeding season you invest in, we will accommodate you.
